Will I have to pay customs or import fees?Updated 6 hours ago

It depends on where you live. Our €9.99 shipping fee covers delivery to your door, but not import duties or taxes outside the European Union. Whether these apply depends on your country's rules and the value of your order, and several countries have changed their rules recently.

Orders to the European Union

VAT is already included in the price you pay at checkout, so you shouldn't be asked to pay VAT again on delivery. If a courier asks you for VAT on a 24builds® order, contact us before paying.

How it works

Orders outside the European Union are shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). If your country charges duties or taxes, the courier will contact you by email, SMS or letter to pay them before releasing your parcel. These charges are set by your local customs authority, not by 24builds®, so we can't tell you the exact amount in advance. Your local customs website can give you an estimate.

Watch out for scam messages

Only pay import fees through the courier's official website or the link on your tracking page. If a message asks for payment and the tracking number doesn't match yours, don't click it.

If customs asks for information

Some countries require extra details to clear a parcel, such as an ID or tax number. Please reply to the courier or customs authority promptly; they hold parcels for a limited time.

What if I don't pay?

If import charges aren't paid or requested information isn't provided, customs may return or destroy the parcel. In that case, we can't refund the order or send a free replacement, and the original shipping cost isn't refundable.
